And reason to this day to day common news is “crop failure due to falling water irrigation level” and the solution we have is COMPENSATION. Its unfortunate that in the country, whose 24% of GDP comes from agriculture sector and 60% of employment,comes from agriculture sector, we are not understanding the seriousness of the issue. Farmers who saves huge no of life, finding it easy to commit suicide than living life, and we are finding it easy to give COMPENSATIONrather then looking for actual solution.
Is COMPENSATION really a solution to the problem or itself is a problem by providing a lucrative option is the question, this film,”MUAWZAA”

Amit Gupta, Writer and director, is been directing Tele-serials since 2006.Has directed many high TRP shows for almost all the prominent GEC in India and abroad. Has started carrier from theatre in 1994, using this medium as not only entertainment but as platform to raise social issues and to develop the personality of children. To achieve this aim written and directed many plays and conducted several workshop especially with under privileged children all over the country. Got international exposé as the writer director for the short film, “ MUAWZAA”based on the life of the farmers committing suicide. This film won official entry for festivals like,” NEW YORK FILM FESTIVAL”. Entertainment when accompanied with some message becomes meaningful, with this thought keeping in mind writing some Hindi feature film scripts.
